Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple

Deep Purple (딥 퍼플)
1968년 결성되어 70년대 Led Zeppelin과 함께 헤비메틀이라는 
장르를 주도했던 딥 퍼플 (Deep Purple)의 역사는 
멤버 교체에 따른 기수로 분류할 수 있을 것이다..* 
1기는 그룹의 리더격인 존 로드(Jon Lord, keyboards), 
닉 심퍼(Nick Simper, bass), 리치 블랙모어(Ritchie Blackmore), 
로드 에반스(Rod Evans, vocals), 이안 페이스(Ian Paice, drums)의
라인업으로 구성되었다.

그들은 도박장을 태워버렸어
엄청난 소리를 내면서 무너졌지
펑키와 클라우드 는 들락날락거리면서
아이들을 밖으로 끌어냈지

When it all was over
We had to find another place
But Swiss time was running out
It seemed that we would lose the race

모든 것이 다 끝났을때

우린 그랜드 호텔에서 완전 볼장 다 봤지
거긴 비어있었고 춥고 낡아빠졌었어
하지만 밖에 있는 롤링 트럭 스톤즈 에서
우리의 음악을 만들었어

몇개의 붉은 조명과 낡은 침대들밖에 없었지만
우리는 열심히 노력해야했어

1968년 영국 [Hertford(하트퍼드)]에서 결성된 그룹
[Deep Purple(딥 퍼플)]은 [Black Sabbath(블랙 사바스)]와
[Led Zeppelin(레드 제플린)]과 함께 헤비메탈 음악의
선구자였으며 전 세계적으로 1억장이 넘는 엄청난
음반 판매고를 보유하고 있는 그룹이다.
